Google voice question

so here's my story. I have 3 phone numbers, my personal phone, my work phone and my Google voice #. I am leaving my current position and want to keep my work phone # so I was wondering if and how I could port that over to Google voice. As I said I already have a good voice # so would I have to create another Google account?
