Google not working?

I keep getting a notification in my status bar saying it can't authorize my google account or some nonsense and it asks me for my password. I put it in but it still doesn't work. I know it's the right password. Any suggestions? it's also doing the same thing on my gf's phone

I'm glad it's happening to you since I thought I was going crazy. :p Mine started doing it last night, and still doing it today.

huh. That's odd. Hopefully we can find some answers from people smarter than myself. lol

Have you received the ota for ics??? Or are you still on gb??

DROID RAZR MAXXIMIZED!!!! PREPARE TO BE VANQUISHED!!!

still in gb. no notification for me yet. hoping this wont interfere with that. that's what I am mostly worried about. to delete the account I have to reset my phone, correct? my gf has the same problem & has received 2 new phones since due to faulty phones & is still having this problem 2 phones later

Go to Settings>Accounts>Click on the Gmail and see if it will let you remove it or fix the password.

there is no gmail in there and can't remove my google account without resetting my phone. Shouldn't there be a gmail account in there though? I have gmail on my phone and use it frequently

I've been getting the same error since yesterday (still on GB); I just clear it and everything still seems to work fine, just an annoyance (and scary thinking my account has been compromised).

yeah same with me. everything still works, but I just didn't see what this message was about. I found the gmail thing and added my account. hopefully that fixes it. We'll see

Yep, getting it on my Bionic, too. But the account still syncs fine. Since it's showing up on multiple phones, it must be a Google glitch somewhere.

I have heard some say that it's related to adding Google+. If you're still having issues, you could try removing that and see if it helps.
