According to this above drop-test video by a German blogger, the Google Nexus 4 is surprisingly resilient despite being made mostly of glass. In the video above the "drop-tester" performed two tests. He dropped the Nexus 4 phone from pocket level, and then dropped it from ear level. In the first test the phone came out unscathed, without even any scratches. In the higher drop test the back glass of the phone cracked and suffered some significant damage, yet the front part glass of the phone was just fine. In both instances the phone and its touchscreen were still fully functional afterwards.
It's great to see that the Nexus 4 is a device which can withstand some rough treatment. Of course we all do our best not to drop our phones, but you never know what might happen...
