We have several video tests of the Galaxy S6 Edge being tortured, and it turns out to be remarkably hardy. The first video (shown in the image above) is just a quick demonstration of the surprising toughness of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. The device is seen repeatedly slammed on a tile floor from a short height. Not only is it working fine afterwards, the glass is also unscathed.

That's not all we have though. We found four different torture test videos of the Samsung Galaxy S6... al of which you can find in the first reply of this thread. In the second video we see the typical pocket and head height drop tests, followed up by even higher drop tests.

The third video uses a Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 smartphones to crack walnuts. Neither of them are dented, broken or scratched in any way. It turns out you practically have to intentionally go out of your way to break the Gorilla Glass 4 on the front and back of the Galaxy S6 Edge.

The final video is an underwater video for the phone. The Galaxy S6 is not rated as water resistant, but it turns out it could last several minutes under water. At the very least it will probably be fine if you accidentally drop it in water and dry it after grabbing it out quickly. Of course, individual results may vary in all of these examples, but the Galaxy S6 Edge is a very resilient device no matter how you look at it. Enjoy!

It lasted a lot longer than the S4. Pretty impressive!
