Google Maps FC??

I tried to use google maps this morning, got fc 5-6 times. Rebooted, and still FC? Anyone else having any problems?? Thanks for any help. Any thought or suggestions are appreciated.

Not yet, have you tried starting up in safe mode?

No I haven't yet. How do you boot into safe mode??

Turn off your phone, then hold down the Menu and Power/Hang Up buttons, and keep holding them through the splash screens until your phone boots. You’ll see "safe mode" in the lower left corner and none of your neat stuff like home replacements will be present.

Not sure if that works without the keyboard being open it not. I also used the menu key on the keyboard.

what kind of apps have you recently installed? booting in safe mode will prevent these apps from loading, but doesn't really tell you the root of the problem.

if you've installed anythign that messes with GPS or even the Maps app, you need to look into uninstalling those apps.

I uninstalled an update to google maps, all is well. Reinstalled update and all is still well.
