Getting past the pattern lock even after a call is recieved

I think that my hubby is cheating on me. Not physically cuz he is always home but i think he may be talking to someone thru myspace or facebook or texting or something. I checked the phone records and odd numbers come up and he says that they are his buddies #s and he hasn't saved them yet. Anyway he has the lock pattern enabled. I looked on here for advice and it said when an incomng call is recieved you can answer the call and then press back and into the phone you are. But I think he found out cuz I tried last night and when I answered the call and pressed back the pattern came on again. Please help me. I need to know so I can make a descision. I don't want to accuse him if I don't know. Please Please.
