Gar and the weather

Why can't I change the city for the weather on my gear keeps putting me in odessa Texas unless and in the app on the phone I have to disable current city but the. I don't get notifications but still shows Texas weather. And I can't use another weather app that's better is there a way to fix it? Thanks for any help the watch is cool other than this little problem.
