Galaxy S3, Kies, & MS Office 365

I own the Samsung-SGH-1747. Previously using Windows 8, Microsoft Office 2010, and Kies my PC and phone synced perfectly. I recently purchased the Microsoft Office 365 subscription. Since that time my email function is intact but I cannot sync either contacts or calendar. About this time I also switched from a POP3 to an IMAP account. I thought that might be the problem but reverting to the POP3 did not solve the problem. Is this a compatibility problem between Kies and Office 365 or is there another explanation and hopefully a fix. Samsung support though courteous was unaware of the existence of Office 2013 or Office 365.
Any help or suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Question Answered

There is no projected date for an upgrade to Kies to make it compatible with Outlook 365.

The following was received this morning from Samsung Support.

"The Samsung Kies software is not yet available for Office 365 and only been tested to work for Microsoft Outlook. We are unable to speculate when/if this software revision might be available due to the fact that this might lead to inaccurate information and confusion."
