I have a G4 with water damage that won't power up. Any way to bring it back to life?

As soon as it got wet did you leave it powered off for several days and attempt to dry it using any standard electrical equipment drying practices?

Yes, it powered on and worked for a few days, then it stopped working

Did you leave it Off for a few days and try any electronic equipment drying techniques before turning it back On? It could have still been wet inside when you did turn it back on if you didn't use the sealed back with rice trick, special electronic drying bags, etc, etc.

Maybe that wasn't long enough and there was still water inside?

Sorry to hear that your phone was water soaked, that's always a serious bummer.

rice does not work. it is only a myth. the problem with water is all the minerals in it. when dry it can leave deposits on the electronic components that will also cause damage.
