Facebook photo issues

I need my Facebook contacts to sync with my phone so that their pictures show up on the contact and in my Social Networking app. I un-synced Facebook from my messaging app, and everything went to ****. So, I re-synced it and nothing is coming back. Can I force the photos to sync somehow?
