Entering Contacts

Bought the Droid for my wife and myself. I can enter contacts into her phone but seem unable to get them saved in my phone. All of the settings appear to be identical. Any suggestions?

What happens when you try?

You should be able to sync'em right from your gmail account, or have'em transfered at a Verizon store.

Original phones were Motorola Razr. I supposed they could transfer the ones I have successfully entered in hers into mine. That at least might get me started. I don't seem to be able to get the first contact into the phone and saved for some reason.

Hello Jandrews, I work for Flextronics in a Verizon Wireless store. As a technician, I see this issue daily. Just go into the contacts app, hit menu, display options, click on the Gmail account, and make sure every box is checked.
Voila, all contacts will now store successfully.
