Anyone having issues with headphones being able to be equalized but when I plug in a male/male connector from my droid to my aux input I get nothing but super distorted sound?

Anyone having issues with headphones being able to be equalized but when I plug in a male/male connector from my droid to my aux input I get nothing but super distorted sound?

I set up DSP settings for my headset jack by plugging in a male to male between my droid and the Aux in on my car. Then I set my EQ up how I wanted to. It sounds great on both the car and then the headphones. Maybe your levels are too high if you try to tweak it with headphones. Mine works great.
