Droid 3 battery life

Why do so many people report bad battery life with their droid 3? I get fantastic battery life for a smart phone on my stock battery. I get about 4-5 hours if watching movies playing games and it only drops about 10 percent every 6 hrs if not used.

Not everyone gets that, apparently. Don't think there was much reason to make this topic though.. could have posted it in the "battery life" thread a few links down.

It's been reported though that their trying to work on an update for the standby and idle time draining it so bad.

I think a lot of the issue comes from people not thinking about what their phones are actually doing. Personally I think the fact that the battery life can change so drastically depending on signal strengths and available networks is a little crazy and they might want to work on it but as far as a phone goes the DROID3 is still doing rather well.
