I have searched high and low.

I have read different threads about moving mp3 files to the DROID and such. I have even seen others that have posted saying the various files that work on the DROID.

What I am trying to find out is if .wma files work on the DROID?

I just transferred files to my DROID and when I open the music files they are not there.

1. I mounted my phone

2. I opened "view files" option on pop-up menu

3. I transferred (3) .wma files to the SD card... NOTHING!

4. I created a "MUSIC" file and placed them in that file... NOTHING!

5. I deleted the "MUSIC" file and created a "Sounds" file... NOTHING!

6. HELP!!!

Have I done something wrong? What am I missing? Can .wma files be converted to mp3 files?

I love DROID, but my BlackBerry Storm 2 does all this and then some.

This is why I question the superiority of the DROID at times. I know it is superior, but the small things that can be done easily on a BlackBerry takes a college degree for the DROID.

Thanks,

Media link is not needed to add the files.....You can just mount and drag/drop the files on the Droid.

What music app (file) are you putting them in?

I placed them on the SD card and they don't show up in my music file.

When I select the file (without double clicking) and then put the cursor back on the file, it shows as a .wma file. How can I tell if it is protected or not.

From everything I have read here, they should work without any app or help.
