Sorry, I tried to search and failed.
Is there a way to make the calendar come up on the agenda view when it first starts? I always get the month view.

I don't believe there is a way to set it, but it will always open on the last calendar you are on. End on agenda it will open on agenda.

But how do you exit from a specific view? The is no exit option, so the only way to close it out is to back all the way out, and when you do that, it takes you through all the views you looked so it exits from the view you started with. My calendar keeps opening in the month view and I want to open in the week view. So I switch it to the week view, but then to exit, I have to back out to the month view and then back out from there.

Go to the view you want.
Hit the home key, NOT the back key.
Turn off the droid with a long press.
Turn it back on.
It will stay on your preference.
That's the on ly way I know to keep it in the view I want, which is agenda,

Thanks for the reply, I'll give that a whirl.

I get that the way the OS is designed, it will clean up running apps and all that. But it would have been nice if they put exit functions in the apps so you could know that you are shutting them down.

Some apps (not stock) do have an explicit close from what I've seen.
