So I got my droid a week after it came out. Recently i've noticed some dead pixels on my screen. I see white specs if I closely look at my screen. Even though its still not noticeable from afar it bothers me. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a chance I could trade it for a replacement?

Are you sure its not dust? Turn phone off, then on. On a black screen the dead pixels should be green.

I had one dead pixel and verizon exchanged it.

On the black screen mine is darkish blue. So i'm guessing its a dead pixel.

Sounds right. Call verizon tech support. DO NOT go to a verizon store.

they will have you remove battery, restart blah blah then send you a new phone.

That should be covered under the manufacture's warranty (and/or VZW extended warranty) so you may want to take in to a store and see if they'll exchange it (manufacture's warranty is 1yr.).
