Data Tiered question

so with the news of the new data tiered projection on verizon, is it likely they will grandfather in current customer with unlimited contracts or does it go by when the phone is actually activated on the line? I am only asking this cause I signed a contract last month and if say I used an insurance claim for my android am I likely to be put on this new data tiered program later on in my contract?

Last I heard they will have to honor all current contracts! :icon_ banana: So we should be safe for a while. There could be a loop hole tho.

someone should just call and ask customer service and the speculation will end.
