data issues

Hey guys i have had my gs3 for about a month now and I've noticed that my data usage had sky rocketed with even mild use. I had the iphone 5 previous to my gs3 and had no such issue and had a gs3 before the 5 (didn't like the iphone at all. It was a smartphone for dummies IMO) and no issue either. Last month i used a total of 10 gigs with mild use when normally i would not go past 4 gigs. Has anyone had this issue in the past? If so how did you go about resolving it? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

Don't know if this helps but I had a Droid X that was doing the same thing. I did a factory data reset and solved the issue. Can't say it will help you but maybe worth a shot. iPhone samrtphone for dummies haha, couldn't have said it better.

How do you typically use your phone during the day? I normally only use about 100-200M a month with mild use.

Go to settings - Backup and Reset - Factory Data Reset.

It will erase all of your apps and phone data. You can back everything up with either Titanium Backup if you're rooted or Apps2SD.
