Motorola has done an amazing job of keeping their devices updated to the latest builds of Android. Even their lower end devices like the Moto G have all remained on the latest greatest builds. Even the Verizon version of the Moto G has already received Kit Kat 4.4.2. Cyanogen Mod 11 not only brings the latest and greatest versions of Android to otherwise forgotten devices, it also brings some added functionality and performance to those devices already fortunate enough to be rocking the latest firmwares. Cyanogen Mod 11 is now available for the Moto G! CM11 for the Moto G will add all kinds of speed and smoothness as well as some battery enhancements, and custom features like theme chooser, and all sorts of CM apps including DSP Managager and Apollo. The Moto G gets its very own build of CM11 thanks to the handiwork of well known Moto dev @Dhacker29! This build appears to be bugfree meaning your camera, bluetooth, sms, wifi, and 4g are working perfectly. The only issue so far that has emerged is repairable. If you have issues with GPS at all simply toggle it off and back on in location settings to bring it back.
