I don't want to ruin anything... Can I safetly SBF back to 2.3.15 from the latest update 2.3.340. I have 30.04 bootloader.

Before this, I most likely had the 2.3.151 version. I've heard of people sbf'ing back to 2.3.15 on bootloader 30.04 (from the 2.3.151). Just not sure with the new Android version 2.2.1

Thanks guys.

No you can't once you update to 2.3.340. Cause as you know one you update to 2.3.240 you get the new bootloader 30.04. Well I'm a prime example I tried SBFing back you 2.3.151 an bam! my X just keeps booting into the bootloader screen.

The .320 and .340 use the same bootloader(30.04). I've heard you can sbf from .320 and then patch again to get .340.

Which one was 320? I had the same issue with the phone booting into the bootloader. To fix it, do a battery pull. Not sure if that's exactly what I did to fix it, but it's not happening anymore. I made a post somewhere on the forum about it.

Question to you though, were you ever able to sbf successfully? This was my first time trying to sbf and it didn't work. I have the newer bootloader as well. I think it's because I'm on a windows 7 machine.

IDK if the phone actually took the files or not in my case, just know the bootloader couldn't recognize them I guess.
