Seems like I'm the only one getting great battery life. I froze the bloatware apps with titanium backup but my battery life was good before I even did that. 24 + hours without recharging

I could probably go 24+ without recharging, but I use it fairly heavily. I still get way better life than I did with my D2G though.

Well today i did a test on my DINC 2 and what i did was set an atuo task killer to end the DRM processes and services process every 30min, and also ran Juice defender. the battery life was much better but what i observed though is that the first part of the battery drains much faster, the first 2% drains almost instantly ....and i also bump charge, but throughout the day it stood steady at 70-55%
But that said it is very incovenient to have to worry about all the processes, I just want a pone that will get good battery life without needing const attention...so thats why i am contenplating this freeze option.....could anyone explain that process

    it's pretty simple.

    1) get the temp root on your phone
    2) install either titanium backup pro or bloatfreezer (? something like that, its mentioned earlier in this thread)
    3) freeze the apps/services using one of those programs that you want to free - like those apps you were constantly ending today
    4) your done! you can now restart your phone (or not) and the apps/services will remain frozen until you yourself defreeze them

    I would wait

How long have you had the phone? If you've had it just a few days, I would wait. My battery life improved greatly after a few days.

I just got my Inc2 today and jumped right in to temproot and use Bloat Freezer. However, when I restart it, the frozen apps are back in the app drawer. Does temproot not keep things frozen after a restart?

What app did you use to freeze it? I used titanium backup and froze them and they aren't in my app drawer after a reboot.

Yeah, do a permanent root to freeze the apps.(unless that's not possible on your model) Titanium backup pro is great.

From my Liberated DROID2 at 1.25ghz
