Backup assistant not taking password after loading a backup

So I loaded a backup and now my backup assistant is not taking my password. When I click on forgot password it clearly shows the correct password. I cleared cache and dalvik cache. Any other suggestions?

I had this problem a while back and a factory reset resolved it iirc

Yeah I tried that and it did solve it, but I would like to use the backup I have and not redo everything from scratch again. Maybe its not possible huh
