Apps opening up/Data collecting in background

Good morning all,

I have download the Advanced Kill app to close any open apps. When I "kill apps" then open the Advanced Kill app again, it will show programs that I haven't even touched, bogging down my memory. It'll show apps that I barely touched in a while or at all (The corporate calendar app opens often and I never touched it). I'm wondering if its due to the data collecting in the background or from apps I actually used.

Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a way to prevent some apps from opening or maybe an app from the market to choose which apps actually launch or don't?

I have exactly the same question. I was wondering If there might be a plug-in for Locale the would designate when to make sure certain apps are OFF.
