Applicaition issue or phone issue

I have an excel spreadsheet that is 1.1mb. Trying to open it on my bionic (stock if that matters) and I run out of memory just before it looks like it will open. Tried with both Officesuite 5 and Quickoffice Pro. Is this normal? Seems like I should have enough space. Not real clear as to how to free up space. So I would appreciate any pointers in that arena.

Try clearing cache! It just may be that the file is too large to open.
