I am considering rooting my phone soon, but before I do so I wanted something clarified about the secure email app, GOOD.

When my company setup my account they sent me a 15 digit pin that I entered when I setup Good on the Nexus. If I root will I need to request a new pin or will my account still work like before?

I am assuming that I will because rooting wipes the device.

Rooting will not wipe the device, but unlocking the bootloader will...including your 'sdcard'

Our company uses GOOD....but I'm not sure I'm going to install it....so no personal opinion there

Its one of the more popular options for secure email if you have an iphone or an android. I didnt have a choice, I got rid of my BB Storm for the Nexus and its all my company offers besides BES.

I meant unlocking the bootloader, so yes i will have to get a new pin from my IT guys.
