Over the past couple weeks, I've noticed a serious increase in the number of "Text message not sent" errors when attempting to transmit SMS text messages from my home. I'm talking about plain text ones, not fancy picture messages or videos, etc. And most of the time, the text message was successfully sent anyway (but the phone just says it wasn't). I know because people reply to them even though it says it failed to send. I know it's not just me, because my wife's Droid X is experiencing the same problem, starting at about the same time a couple weeks ago. Before, we'd get an error maybe 5% of the time based on cell phone reception and signal strength. Now it's like 90% of the time, and nothing has changed! Was there a recent software release or patch that could have caused this? I can't think of anything we changed in our home that could have caused such a serious degradation in signal (we aren't getting more frequent dropped calls). Is this affecting anyone else?
