is there another way to buy apps? My company will deny any apps charges...don't blame them but if I really want one, is there another way to get them so they don't get charged to my bill?

Thanks

You use the market to download apps but to purchase paid apps you have to provide a credit card number or PayPal account. All charges are billed to those accounts not on your phone bill. All the data for downloads go against your monthly data allowance. Which I assume the company is paying for. They can't tell what you have downloaded.

thanks, for the notes....I got my hand slapped by the company on some kind of strange charge on my bill...something I had done while learning the OS. Not sure how it happened but it did, since then I have ignored the "buy" button in the app store.

When you buy via the market you actually use google checkout. So you can use your personal credit/debit card and your company probably wont know.

For BEST results (and security), I'd recommend getting a prepaid visa card vs using your actual credit/debit card.

Actually at&t has bill to account for apps now and I believe it is default, though if you have a droid 2 I doubt you're on at&t
