A couple of problems/questions

Hi,

I’ve been playing with Milestone since Friday and I have a few questions.

1. Loads of apps are missing from the Market (even apps I’ve paid for). I know there is a sticky posting that mentions this, but does anybody know why?
2. There is no pinch and zoom on Google Maps. Is this just my device?
3. The stock browser isn’t reflowing the page when you pinch and zoom. I’ve switched to Dolphin so this isn’t such a big problem but odd.

where did you buy your Milestone from?
It is proven, that milestones, that are not bought via a certain provider (like via amazon) dont have FULL access to the market. That is a developer related problem.They can limit apps to certain OS builds/software brands/credit card provider.

i dont have pinch and zoom on google maps as well, seems like it is not implemented

i dont understand that problem, can you explain a little more?

Hi,

1. Bought it from from Expansys. If thats the case then I'm a little more than annoyed!
2. Ho hum, don't use maps that much so not a huge problem.
3. If you zoom in the browser the text is not reflowed so you need to pan right to read the page. This works fin on my old G1 and Dolphin.
