3.8v ICS Battery issue SOLVED!

The latest ICS "leak" has a new kernel image that fixes the 3.8v battery problem. I've confirmed that the battery now charges to 100% and works the way it should. You'll need to flash the boot.img in fastboot.

"fastboot flash boot boot.img"

Depends on what ROM you're using. This new kernel allows the 3.8v battery to actually charge to 100%. So in a way it does help with battery drain as well.

Can I flash this if I am on ICSE 2.3, or will it cause problems?

im running the newest version of clean rom (updated yesterday) it will probably work on the one you have. i flashed it and i im charging it now so i will get back one that.

im just saying i tried this on clean rom and it doesn't work. it doesn't charge up to 100% any more but its not like it ever stayed up at 100% for more then a minute or 2.
