I have an iPhone 3Gs - I tried out the Droid back in November when it first came out, but it had some small issues that I couldn't get past. I want to get the Droid, and want to be on Verizon, so now that 2.1 is out, I have a couple of questions...
Is the UI "slicker" than 2.0.*? The 3Gs is simply smooth and sleek. I know this isn't everything and isn't important to some people, but I'm wondering if 2.1 improves on the "sleekness" of the Droid?
Secondly, I receive work voicemails via email with .wav files attached. However, I was unable to open those .wav files before. Yes, the Droid will play .wav files, but there was seemingly a disconnect between the mail app and the rest of the phone and it would never let me open them from that app. I'm wondering if this is now fixed in 2.1?
Thanks!
