I have been playing around with an extra droid x I have lying around. Without overclocking, I have managed to get my phone to produce a quadrant score of 1944. 1944 being the best out of three runs, the other two scores were 1916 and 1867. OH!! I almost forgot the best part. I am on the rooted .602 update from P3Droid. I think that is pretty impressive for stock gingerbread.

Since I was able to hit that with my test phone, I am going to give it a shot on my daily phone.

Ok,it is later and I am back with the results from my daily phone, here are the quadrant scores that i got - 1925/2000/1858. Still pretty good for not using any over clocking apps.

I run the imoseyon script first imoseyon
and then I get supercharged!! --> [Script] V6 SuperCharger! HTK & BulletProof Launchers! The ONLY Android MEMORY FIXER! - xda-developers

I have gotten 2400 without overclock using CM7. I have gotten 3250 on Apex overclocked at 1.3 GHz

I am pretty sure the supercharger script is built in those two roms along with imoysen tweaks as well.

I was just impressed with my scores running plain old gingerbread.
