zMooth and Button Saviour without root

Hi all,

I'm wondering if there's any apps that replace the hardware buttons (like zMooth, Button Saviour, Virtual Button Bar), WITHOUT having to root my phone.

Thanks,
Sasha

Hey Shiva,

I wrote Virtual Button Bar and as far as I know, there is no way to do this without Root access. It comes down to Google designing it so that each app runs within it's own sandbox. They don't want one app to have control over another, or the phone.

The best you can do without Root is a Home button, Camera button, start up Applications (recent tasks etc) and anything that can be invoked by an Intent.
