Zagat Apps

The Zagat apps in my Droid market charges $9.99 to download the apps. Is that a one-time charge, or a monthly charge?

when you purchase an app from the market, the fees are for the price of the software itself. i have yet to see any app access a monthly charge and am not even sure if that's possible.

so the $10 is for the app itself.

I havent seen any with a monthly plan but ScanR is the closes i seen to a subscribtion which allows you to only create 1000 pdfs or 250 faxes after which you can pay 4.99 monthly or 29.99 yearly for unlimited.

my thoughts exactly i was looking for a app to create pdfs on the fly and scanr was nicer cost more 9.99 but they didnt tell you that untill AFTER you bought it. Now they have a trial version that gives you 5 free pdf scans and 2 faxes. Its not a bad app cause it does integrate into for online access of your pdfs you scanned and might be worth it if you need to scan and send invoices on the fly but i didnt want to pay monthly or yearly for it on top of the initial cost.

I did email the developer if the limitation is monthly or yearly but never received a response so i bought a different app.
