Recently I dropped my Droid 2 Global with the z4root app installed. Unrooting with it is as simple as clicking "unroot". My problem is that after dropping my Droid 2 the touchscreen fails to recognize touch. From what I understand z4root as an application works differently than manually rooting a phone, therefore if I used a manual method would it remove the root granted by z4root or would it fail to remove the root and possibly kill my phone? Does anyone have a method for removing the root provided by the application without using the phones touchscreen. I need the root gone before taking it in for warranty at Verizon, any help would be greatly appreciated.
