That is the DivX player right? I tested that out a while back and it surprisingly played divx movies and videos very well, great sound and quality. However the full version is expensive and I dont watch movies on my phone so I couldnt justify it. Also, i think the UI could have been better...

Yes it works very well. I don't have the full version because, like icculusx, I don't watch movies on my phone. The free version only plays for a few minutes straight, which is fine for me because the most I ever need to watch are short clips.

The app requires and IMEI number, my Droid only has an MEID number. I think YXPLAYER only works on GSM phones.

Mine has an IMEI number.

Where did you find your MEID#? Please tell me because I don't see it

Go into Settings>About Phone>Status

There is no IMEI# there...It only shows a MEID#, which mine is A0000015B5C35C

IMIE# are 15 digits, MEID# are 14 digits. YXPLAYER requires you to enter an IMIE#.

Oh, I've never actually looked there. My phone only has an MEID number in the settings>about>status tab.

I've always just looked on the "about" tab in yxplayer which has an IMEI and an IMSI number listed. Upon closer inspection, the number it shows for IMEI is the same as my MEID number in the settings>about>status area on the phone. So, maybe you're right about it only working on gsm phones, idk. I've never tried to register it since I only every watch short clips anyway, and it works fine for that.
