can you watch videos in high definition on the droid?

While on the video's page, hit menu (2x, first will probably just make status bar/play buttons disappear) > more > watch in high quality ...... awesome

Also note (in case you're not rooted yet) that if you 'sign in' to your YouTube account it should 'remember' your preferences and launch the videos in HD.

It doesn't seem to remember for me. Do you mean if you go back to watch a video that you previously viewed in High Quality that it will remember? It doesn't seem to do that either.

Not sure, that's just what I had heard. I use the hack so it always defaults to HD for me no matter where I go to the video from.

Mine is set to default to HD but it only works well with wifi. With 3g it pauses and skips.
