Youtube app inop

Since the update, every time I hit the youtube app it asks for my user name and p/w. Never used to, and I cannot create a username either. I have a google acct obv, and it wont even take that. Anyone else experiencing the same problem? For reference I am using adw home aftet the update and not rooted

Update: now I can get in using the search button on the bottomd, not the actual search icon in the app, and it times out and says no network connection. Need some help please

Update: now it will alloe me to go to video, but will say server unavailable and thats with any video. Please anyone having any issues?
