Hey guys I just downloaded this app. I'm trying to get personalized gretting for my callers. Thought I had it set up but called from my gfs phone and it asks to enter my phone number and pin. Doesn't leave a option to leave a voicemail. Any ideas?

I'm guessing this is a voicemail app. Check and make sure it is set as your default voicemail service in settings->call settings.

Well I had google voice downloaded and didn't see the point of it. I have now unistalled it. But when I go into setting I can only change between google voice and my carrier

Google voice can set personalized greets for callers, why did you switch. Just curious.

Not really sure how to fix your problem, sorry.

Didn't know how to work google voice I guess. I thought it seemed like one of those stupid pointless apps.

If you log in from a browser it has a lot of nice features you can use.

I guess what are they? If you can kinda explain it that would be great. Ive only had a droid about 2 months. I logged on from a computer and I guess I missed all the cool stuff it can do.

On the top RIGHT of the browser go to settings-> voice settings you can see a few tabs you can mess with. To set a custom greeting click contacts on the left, select a person then click "edit google voice settings" under the contact info. You can also set a greeting for a group by creating a group and adding contacts to it.
