It's posted in the Razr forum so that is probably the phone in question...
...our experience is you should go to VZW and get some hands on time with it and make the decision for yourself
I bought mine yesterday. It is quite fast and I have been spending most of my time rooting and loading it.
One thing I noticed,was I am not overly impressed with the camera. We had a birthday party for my son yesterday and the pictures and videos had a green tinge to them. I am going to tweak on it this week.
I need to figure all the bloatware I want to remove or freeze. It loads way too much at startup.
I do like the phone. The screen is ok, but not great. The pentiles are going to be something we have to live with until better technology comes out.
My major concerns were the street gathered of signal on the phone and wifi. Once again moto did not let me down. I had not read anywhere about any improvements on these features by Samsung. Everyone seems too worried about screens, cameras and ICS. ICS will be here when it gets here. I am more concerned about business use first.

You realize you're posting on a forum built by phone geeks for phone geeks, right?
Pick up a phone with a pentile screen and compare to something like a sg2 or an iPhone or a rezzound tomorrow and you can clearly see how pixellated the screen is, especially in regards to text.

I'm planning on spending some hands on time with it tomorrow, and I mean i have 14 days with it to return so I minus well try it out. The screen issue probably won't bother me too much, I honestly don't care as long as it doesn't look like complete crap, which I highly doubt it does.

It you hold the display about 3" away from your eye or use a 5x magnifying glass it's very visible.
My answer is "so." For me text is sharp and clear in different lighting. Some how I don't throw up or go into convulsions with a Pentile screen. You have to decide for your self.
Personally I like the bionic display over the razr. So much for my advice.

Granted nothing about a phone is enough to throw up or go into convulsions over,
But I can easily discern the pixelation from well over a foot away. Sadly yes, image quality on a graphical user interface based device is a major selling point for me. I'll pass and stick with my D2G til next year.

I apologize i reread my post. I was preoccupied with something personal when i posted. Didn't mean anyone here personal. I don't know about anyone. Besides im a mobile phone techno geek.
Im coming from a torch so im definitely not the guy who knows anything. Im sure i just havent been exposed to better technology.
I should've just said. If this is your first droid phone ever,I think youll be happy. One.

Go check one out at Verizon and see if you like it. I looked at one yesterday and it's pretty nice except for the screen, even solid colors have a checker board pattern to them because of the pentile display. If the Nexus isn't much better I may just end up getting the Rezound.
