I know that Yahoo and Android have not played well for some time. I was able to manage on my Droid X by adding a Yahoo account that synced just the contacts (not email) and using Maildroid to handle the push email from Yahoo (other than the Yahoo app it's the only one that seems to work well with push).
I had intended to do the same when I upgraded to my RAZR MAXX. What I noticed, though, is that the RAZR does not seem to sync contacts any longer, just email, when you add the account through My Accounts.
Has anyone had success linking up to a Yahoo account in a reliably way?
What I'm doing in the meantime is to use the Yahoo Mail app - but it's terrible. They've recently added ads, it doesn't scroll through HTML messages properly, and there is no way to select multiple messages.
