Yahoo email problems...is it just me?

I have set up both ways to access yahoo email:
1. the droid "email" app, set up correctly.
2. the yahoo email app.

The Yahoo email app will only connect 25% of the time (Connection error message)
Neither will "notify" when there is an incoming email.
I have to "refresh" to sync and load new emails.

Gmail works like it's supposed to....

Is there a plot?????

Did you set your Yahoo! mail up as POP3 or IMAP?

The OP may not even be aware of settings in gmail. You should take a look at your on line settings in gmail. If you have and everything is set up correctly, then I don't know.

There was a problem with Yahoo but 2.1 pretty much took care of that.

I am using the POP3 setting.
I have been having Yahoo email problems on my laptop too...I think Yahoo is having a proble.
