This has happened a couple times now...I will go to use the keypad to type a message and the Y or U key does not work in portrait mode. When I switch to landscape, the keys all work. When I power down the phone and power it back up the keys work in both portrait and landscape mode.
This is a new issue...it has come up just this week. The phone is maybe a month old. And that the problem resolves after a restart makes me think this is a software, not a hardware issue. Also, it seems to occur when the phone has been on continuously for three days or so (including being ON during recharge at night).
And so far, of the two times this has happened, the Y key has failed once and the U key has failed once. That part of the screen is dead to input...no vibration feedback...nothing. I am pressing dead plastic.
Anyone have a similar experience? Ideas regarding solution?
