dose any one know where i can find a step by step on how to root this phone. this has become the hardest phone to root by far. the it not like the the droid x days let me tell ya

Someone did a noob-proof version of RockMyMoto which worked for me. If you want to mod the phone, permanent write protection removal is MotoWpNoMo. Current safestrap 3.65 can be used to flash ROMs, when they become available. Now, safestrap IS different than bootstrap in the X, so do a little research first. Good luck!
