Xiaomi Laptop Details Revealed!

There is an Juggernaut making waves in Asia in the smartphone industry. Xiaomi has been leading the way in countries like China when it comes to smartphones. Smartphones are not the only thing the company excels at though. They are all about making a quality product at a lower cost to the consumer. NotebookCheck is reporting some all new Xiaomi laptop details.

The laptop is said to feature a 15.6" screen, a last gen Intel Haswell Core i7, an older NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760M graphics chip, a 1080p display, 8GB of ram, and Linux. The laptop should come in at around $464 thanks to the lower end specs. There are also other variants including a 12.5" and 13.3" model expected. This could be a competitor to Chromebooks and cheaper Windows laptops.

Im curious to what type of hard drive would be in ut. Most likely a traditional 5400 rpm unless a cheap 120gb SSD. If its upgradable i would easily get one. Most i3 laptops are just under that price tag and it also has dedicated gpu. I'll keep my eye out for this.

Not very but the ui has come a long way.

I think everyone should experience Linux... A lot of small issues of Windows seem even smaller... I like it
