Ewwwww! I was watching the news today and saw this video a a lady that found a Rat in a Chef Boyardee can!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddFPmy5Y43s"]YouTube - Mother Finds A Dead Rat Inside Her Chef Boyardee!!!!
Heres the news story:
Jennifer Aker of Ohio shot a video of the tained goods after she opened a can of spaghetti and meatballs for her daughter and saw the dead rodent.
Her nephew, in fact, filmed it for YouTube.
Con Agra officials said in a prepared statement: "We take all consumer inquires seriously, and when a consumer has a bad experience, we work with them to determine the source of the problem and correct it. We also work with them to make up for their experience as best as we are able."
I think it's a set up. I've been in canneries before and can't imagine how a rat would go undetected. I think this bumpkin is looking for a quick buck.
Besides, have you ever tasted Chef Boyardee's spaghetti and meatballs? Honestly, the rat can only be an improvement.

"I opened it up and my face was very close to it and immediately you could tell there was a dead rodent on top, in fact you couldn't even see the spaghetti and meatballs at all,"
Aker said in an article that ran in the Huffington Post.
ConAgra, the product manufacturer, is reportedly sending a courier to retrieve the product to conduct tests on it, has asked Aker to freeze the contents of the can in the meantime.Aker said in an article that ran in the Huffington Post.
