wireless tethering and cell phone

can someone direct me to a link or give me info on how to install and use wireless tethering the easiest way available..i see some ways, but i dont know if they are the newest and easiest that are out there...my phone is rooted with p3s 1.2 kernel and ud2.5

You download "Wireless Tether" from the Market, and install it.

i have it installed and when it is showing under my laptop devices i can connect to, but it says unable to connect and i when i troubleshoot, nothing will come up i can do

Well i have wireless teether and it works great maybe not a good idea if u want to download stuff but i good for web surfing. make sure your laptop is allowed in ur cell phone tho

yeah im just using the wired version now and works flawless thanks though..ill figure the rest out later..and yes i am rooted

You should get a yellow or green shield on your phone when your PC is connected.
