Just an FYI, as I'm catching up reading some of these posts, I found using the HeyTell app on .246 and .247 would hang the external speaker on my Bionic making it not work. It never did this in .905. My point is it may not be SA, don't forget to look at some of the apps you are using regularly.

Thanks! I check to see if there is another root to my problem.

I've actually had a weird notification volume (or lack thereof) issue exactly like this since I got my Bionic; on EVERY OS. Just got used to it myself, it was there on .905, was there on .901, was there on .89x, was there from the beginning. In my case, a GMail notification will make it so I have to play with the volume toggle before I ever hear sound again. I know i'm being affected when the screen lock sounds stop playing.

This idea I've had before just neglected to share it although I'm willing to bet it had already been thought of. And its probably to late to matter. Here we go:

Samuri: Why don't you implement either before someone can download your script OR put it in the installer, or just in the script, a QUIZ of sorts. This quiz would have multiple choice questions like "What buttons must you push to get into the bootmenu?" and "What do you do at the Green Android screen with the exclamation point?". Etc etc etc. That could force some to seek the answers before they start (omg reading the FAQ and the hob directions?)

No idea. Never tried. I let mine sit off charger when I get up in the morning and throw it back on the charger when I go to bed 14 or so hours later. Most days I'm still at 70-80% charge. Days I got into my office I'm usually still over 50% even being on 4G all day. I can't really complain.

SamuriHL, is that on a stock or extended battery? My day starts at 5:30AM and 12 hours later I'm looking to plug in somewhere. I recently started using the "Smart Actions" battery extender but so far that has not impressed me either. Just an hour or maybe 2 longer and I'm needing a charge. Nothing at all like what you are experiencing.

I've thought about it more than once. It's been discussed by a bunch of us already.

Stock battery. No smart actions except to turn off sound at night.
