by the way sarge, what is the origin of your username? Why "sargentmajord" and not "sergeantmajord"? Now that we've been discussing usernames, i'm curious. (for the record, mine is my first name in nickname form, and my old zip code - i'm now Dave12303 but don't want to change my username)

You know, I was going to ask earlier why they didn't go with the Tegra 3 for this new round of devices. Figured it was a dumb question, I assumed it had the same issues the Tegra 2 did when they tried to use it for the XT865 version of the Bionic.

It does. Snapdragon is currently the perfect LTE chipset which is why everyone's using it. But nVidia will get there. It's being worked on.

I remember watching a Show/Documentary on Musashi a while back and was awestruck at his determination,self discipline and mastery of his skills. Just another one of those people I wish I could just visit back in time and see for myself.

So THAT'S why you see the Tegra 3 mostly in wifi tablets right now, and the S4 in LTE phones, 'eh? Always wondered about that. I'd actually be VERY happy with a Tegra 3 phone, based on the performance of the N7 (which I had to send back to Google, but that's another story - stupid blown speaker issue)

Well it stands for Sergeant Major Derby which is my grandpa he was in the 101 st airborne LRRPs in Vietnam the sargentmajord is that i just made a typo an it just stuck

You and me both. It'd be amazing to learn from them. I've been blessed in the martial art I study in who I've been able to train under. I haven't studied in a few years since life got in the way but I wish to return to class in the near future.

I used to play Halo 1 for PC. I was trying to be original.. hAHAha was as original as I could get (I was 11). When I got xbox and xbox Live, hAHAha was already taken, so I put in the name of the game from which it originated.

Now I'm starting to use Nova as usernames.. I'll probably throw in some numbers that are meaningful to me to make it more original, I'm working on it as I go.

You wouldn't be happy with a tegra 3 phone which is the point. It *SUCKS* on LTE and why it's not being used. There are multiple problems. It kills battery like no tomorrow and the drivers don't seem to work right with LTE. Snapdragon, otoh, is a freaking beast. We'll get there.

That's actually really cool. A nice tribute to your Grandpa, AND with the typo it makes it a memorable username. I actually enjoy learning how people came by their usernames, it's always interesting.

Well, I mean I would actually be happy with the CPU and GPU of the T3, assuming the LTE issues are fixed. Snapdragon seems very decent too, just haven't used one of the recent versions. Last time I touched a Snapdragon phone, it was a N1. Back then, the OMAP was more impressive. But things done changed!
