Yes he did but how much back log do u think he has to clean up since taking over u guys are being unreasonably impatient they have approved the update its going to be pushed within the next few weeks atleast u guys have a time stamp now instead of being in pure speculation

Yeah, the soak invites went out on 4-30-'12, actual test came out on 6-7-'12. Still have both of them in my e-mail, in case I needed them for future reference.

According to the soak text -

"Thanks for signing up for the Atrix 2 software test. Our apologies for the delay in starting this test! The software will begin to be pushed out later this afternoon; however, it may take several hours for all targeted devices to receive the update."

Alright. I'm sorry..

I didn't know they actually approved the update.
From all the previous posts/updates, it sounded to me like they possibly approved it, but we weren't really sure. Then there were changes to the server, and possibly another build was being made, and all that thrown together really caused some uncertainty in me whether or not 246 really was accepted. There's also the chance that Verizon could "disapprove it after approval", but then again it sounds like that they wouldn't let that happen again.

I'm glad to know now that we're guaranteed 246.

I'm sorry. I am being MORE than realistic, and MORE than reasonable. Mr. Soni SPECIFICALLY talked about the Bionic. And then we get blindsided by a ****ing update that comes out of NOWHERE. I'm sorry, when he said he was paying SPECIAL attention to the Bionic, I didn't know that was going to translate to "SPECIAL attention to the Atrix 2 which will suddenly get ICS out of nowhere".

I say forget the 100 dollars to help pay for a new phone. Motorola needs to talk to Verizon and just allow us to exchange our phones for an updated phone and not have it count against our upgrades.

Yeah, that $100 offer is a laugh. Like i'd ever even CONSIDER another Motorola device at this point. They must think pretty highly of themselves if they think THAT is adequate compensation for the crap they have been continually putting us through. Even if Verizon is to blame, it's sort of like a slap in the face. Moto is basically saying "We know we've screwed you to this point, but we still think you are STUPID enough to buy another device from us".
