Wired tether win xp not connecting to computer

I have a rooted bionic and when i use the wired tether the phone connects via usb to the computer.. However when i activated the tether app it will not connect to the pc. I had a orignal droid rooted for years with this app and am fimlar with it. I can not figure out why all the sudden it will not find the computer. Everything else works and syncs fine with the cable. All drivers seem to be installed. My pdanet program works fine. Anyone else have this problem? Any fixes??

I had to fall back using pdanet when I upgraded to the bionic. Hopefully someone will have a fix soon. I miss using my wired tether app. code.google.com/p/android-wired-tether/
